1. Click on the Sign up now link, on the LOGIN page.
2. Register your new account information and click on
3. You will receive an email confirming that your account is pending approval.
4. Once your account has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation and log-in information.

3. After log-in, you will be able to create Handle IDs in Models where the administrator has given permission to do so.

1. Click on the Models link to see a list of Models available.
   Models are visible to all visitors and registered users, but only registered users with permissions can create Handle IDs.

1. Click on a Model (e.g. ITU-T Recs link); a page with all Handle IDs that belong to this Model will be displayed.
2. Clicking on a Handle ID you can resolve this individual Handle, the resolution result is displayed in the right-hand panel.

You can create Handle IDs in Models where the Handle System administrator has given permission to do so.
Handle IDs can only be edited and deleted by the user who created the Handle ID and the Model administrator.

1. Click on a Model where you have permission to create Handle IDs.
2. Click on the tab, it will open the ‘Create Handle’ form.
3. Fill in your new Handle ID information, then and click on
4. A message will appear confirming that this Handle ID has been successfully created, you need to reload the page in a minute to see this new Handle ID on the Display list.

2. On the ‘EDIT’ column, click on the ‘Edit’ icon (this icon is only visible if you are the Handle ID owner)
